Robert Davies

Best known for his ‘Epiphany’ series of photographs that transform classic moments of World Cup football into richly colored abstractions, Robert Davies’ art operates in the zone where photography meets painting. His work is in numerous collections, including those of Citibank, Goldman Sachs, and Lausanne’s Musee de l’Elysee in Switzerland, and has been exhibited in public venues including the Barbican Gallery and The Photographer’s Gallery in London, and the Musee d’Art Moderne in Paris.
