While Constantine Manos was born in the United States, it was a 1961 trip to Greece - the land of his ancestors - which inspired the series of images that first brought him international attention. His books include Portrait of a Symphony, A Greek Portfolio, Bostonians, and American Color. His prints are in the collections of major institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris.
